JC was signed to record company, AMUSIC in 2016 following the recommendation of Mr. Ronald Ng, the principal of the Baron School of Music. In the same year, her official debut single, “說散就散” was one of the top ten most popular music videos on Hong Kong YouTube. The song has now received over 130 million views. Star Singer Instructor
JC, a graduate and disciple of Mr. Steven Ip, the director and instructor of the Vocal Department of Baron School of Music, joined the “2018 Sing! China” large-scale singing competition as a singer in 2018. She stood out among many contestants and achieved an excellent ranking in the top six. Afterwards, she joined the Baron School of Music in 2023 and became a pop vocal instructor of the school.
Interpreting Songs with Rich Emotions
JC possesses a highly recognizable and unique vocal tone and delivers songs with genuine emotional interpretation. Her singing prowess has been recognized and acknowledged by the music industry. She has been invited multiple times to collaborate and perform with renowned singers. Some notable collaborations include performing “說散就散” at Leon Lai’s “Leon Random Love Songs Live in Studio City” Concert, singing “成都” and “說散就散” with 白敬亭, 周筆暢 and Yoyo Sham at the Hunan TV New Year’s Eve Concert, duetting “如影隨心” with Terrance Lam, “時光如剪” with Li Hao, “我不是邱比特” with Mike Tsang, and “一廂情願” with Raymond Lam, among others. JC also assist pupils in conveying emotions more effectively through song interpretations.
