Baron School of Music’s Course

• When Typhoon warning signal No. 8 or above, or Black rainstorm warning signal is in effect, students are advised to stay indoors, all scheduled and ongoing classes or exams will be suspended or postponed.
• When Typhoon warning signal No. 8 or above, or Black rainstorm warning signal is cancelled at or before 6 pm, all scheduled class or exam will be held as usual two hours after the announcement.
• When Typhoon warning signal No. 8 or above, or Black rainstorm warning signal is cancelled after 6pm, all scheduled classes/exams will be suspended or cancelled.
• All arrangements will depend on the course instructor’s schedule and conditions. If there is any special arrangement, The School will notify students accordingly.

Adverse Weather Class Arrangements

• All classes will be held as usual when the yellow rainstorm warning signal is issued or in force.

Application Procedures

Applicants may download the Application Form or obtain a copy in person from Baron School of Music. After completing the form, please submit it in person or by post to:
7/F, Tung Chiu Commercial Centre, 193 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong

When submitting the application, please prepare the following documents:
1. Application fee of HKD 120 (non-refundable under any circumstances)
2. Completed application form with one passport-sized or recent photograph taken within the past year
3. Applicants under the age of 18 must submit an application form signed by a parent or legal guardian

Application for Group Courses

Admission
Admission to certain programmes is subject to specific entry requirements or prerequisites. These requirements are designed to ensure that students possess sufficient knowledge and skills, making it easier to successfully complete the programme. The School requires applicants to meet the necessary prerequisites before enrolling in certain courses.

Exemption policy
To be exempted from studying the compulsory subject, students must submit an application for evaluation before the course starts, and submit relevant documents to prove that they have completed similar courses, obtained recognized qualifications, or have passed professional examinations. Students may need to participate in auditions, written tests or assessments designed by
The School for the relevant courses. The assessment fee for written test is HK$500; if you need to conduct an audition in our recording studio, a fee of HK$680 will be applied.

申請入讀班制課程

入學
學生修讀某些課程是需要符合特定的入學要求或具有必要條件，目的是為了確保學生有足夠的知識和技能，令完成整個課程更容易達標。學院會要求學生在報讀某些課程前具備該課程的必要條件。

豁免政策
如欲獲豁免必修科目，學生必須在開始課程前遞交評估申請，並提交相關文件以證明已完成類同課程及獲得認可資格，或已通過專業考試。 學生須參加面試或寫作測驗或學院設定對相關課程所要求的評估。每項豁免評估費用為港幣300元正。
