The theme song for Dance Party 3, Welcome to This City, for which Fok served as lead vocalist, composer and lyricist, was nominated for ‘Best Original Film Song’ at the 2020 Taiwan Golden Horse Film Festival and the 2022 Hong Kong Film Awards. Fok, a long-time Hip Hop enthusiast, has enjoyed immense popularity following the release of his debut solo album Hua Hua. The album received critical acclaim and reached No. 20 on the Mainland China Albums Chart, No. 1 on the iTunes Hong Kong Hip Hop Chart, and No. 2 on the iTunes Hong Kong Albums Chart. This chart-topping success demonstrates that his distinctive rapping style and songwriting abilities have been widely recognised from the very start of his career.

Fok believes that rap is a fusion of rhythm, lyrical technique and expressive ability, among other elements. Through personal style and creativity, artists freely express themselves through lyrics and music to create their own unique works. During the teaching process, Fok explores the development and background of Hip Hop, analysing works and their evolution. Through this in-depth understanding, students are guided to develop their own unique and diverse modes of expression. Fok hopes that through study and practice, students will effectively showcase their creative and expressive styles, gaining a genuine understanding of and ability to utilise the potential of rap.
