    Possessing a Rich Musical Cultivation 

    Lok was born into a family steeped in the musical atmosphere. From a young age, he was exposed to music, and at the age of 4, under the guidance of his mother, he began to explore the piano, cultivating a keen musical sensibility and kickstarting his musical journey. 

    At the age of 12, Lok was given the opportunity to join a percussion ensemble, participating in various musical performances and competitions. Through these experiences, he accumulated a wealth of performance experience. He later obtained the professional qualification of the Grade 7 Popular Drumming certificate from the renowned Trinity College of Music in London, solidifying his ambition to become a prominent percussionist. 

     

    Mentored by a Renowned Drummer 

    Through Baron School of Music, Lok had the opportunity to be mentored by the renowned popular drummer, Mr. Anthony Fernandes. Under his guidance, Lok learned a wide range of professional techniques in popular drumming. During his studies, he was even recommended by his teacher to perform as a popular drummer in Baron School of Music’s recital events. Ultimately, Lok’s diligence and talent led him to join the Baron School of Music faculty as a popular drumming instructor. 

    Pursuing the Ideal of Inspiring Lives Through Music 

    As a member of a band, Instructor Lok faithfully implements the teaching approach of Mr. Anthony Fernandes. Leveraging his extensive musical knowledge, Lok guides his students in a systematic manner, from the foundational to the advanced techniques of professional popular drumming. 

    Lok, who is passionate about rock and pop music, places great emphasis on the personal development of his students. He aims to help them discover their unique performance style, driven by his ardent desire to inspire his students with his own fervor for music.
